Dr. Tampiwa Chebani
I am a medical doctor by training, turned educator and social entrepreneur. I am also a Health & fitness Coach and work with both individuals and their families. I trained at the University of Melbourne Medical school for my degrees in Medicine, surgery and Medical science. I am a lecturer in Health Information Management at a university. I also coordinate Corporate Wellness programs.I am an avid proponent of Holistic Wellness and strongly recognize the fact that what we call disease is an imbalance in body and/ or mind. This recognition has brought about a conviction that most of the chronic disease conditions that we see are due to the food we eat and a lack of adequate physical exercise. Conventional medicine follows a materialistic reductionist model that may be insufficient in dealing with the subtle and intangible elements such as mind and/or spirit. ’
