Nine fully monitored ICU beds and the expertise of critical care registered nurses are provided for patients requiring constant observation or intensive nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit. The unit has a central nurses station with each of the rooms equipped with the latest patient care equipment.

Visiting hours for the Intensive Care Unit are very strict and remain as follows: 
 
6:00 am -6:15 am
10:00am -10:15 am
1:00 pm-1:15 pm
4:00 pm - 4:15pm
8:00 pm - 8:15 pm

Each patient may have 2 visitors at a time, visitors are free to swap out the time alloted for visiting hours. There is a phone located in the ICU waiting area and families are free to call and check on patient between visiting hours.
